Good stuff. I lived in Ohio from 2014 to 2020 (I'm from California). I couldn't convince my co-workers (in Ohio!) that the Civil War started because of slavery. One co-worker argued with me that the Tulsa Massacre wasn't because of racism but was the fault of the Tulsa newspapers for not telling white Americans it isn't acceptable to kill black Americans.
